  • System wide, CSX has 21,000 miles of track, access to 70 ports, connections to over 240 short line and regional railroads, and nationwide trans loading and warehousing services
  • In the Southern Ohio region, CSX rail crisscrosses the region, with flat yards in nine Ohio cities: Columbus, Dayton, Middletown, Hamilton, Toledo, North Baltimore, Akron, Lordstown, and Cleveland.

  • The City of Jackson, Ohio owns the short line railways throughout Jackson and

    Ohio South Central Railroad Short Line

    Vinton counties, and is operated by the Ohio South Central Railroad.

  • This rail runs from the very southern tip of Jackson County all the way through Vinton County into Ross County where it interchanges with CSXT near Chillicothe, Ohio, with service to Norfolk Southern.
